Ageing Well Counselling Service

Somtimes people just cannot get on with or move forward with their lives without someone to help them deal with emotional issues that are getting in the way. Ageing Well provides a supportive confidential counselling service to enable people to talk about their concerns and be listened to with care and respect. The service is available to anybody who lives in the Borough of Sockport and is aged fifty or over.

The service will be of benefit to those people who feel the need for one-to-one emotional support so that they can move forward with their lives and live independently.

People will be able to talk in confidence about any worries or problems they may be experiencing in a warm and supportive environment. A person-centred, confidential and non-judgemental approach will be offered allowing each individual to be and feel genuinely listened to, respected and valued.
