Carers Link-up

A special service for carers aged 55+. Link Up Carers is a meeting place on the phone. It enables carers to meet with a group of like minded people without leaving their home. It is a weekly chat for half an hour which often leads to lasting contacts and even friendships. The service can be operated from an ordinary phone without any special equipment.

“To begin with I did not think the group would be for me. But after a few weeks I really got to know everyone. It is marvellous, we discuss a wide range of topics, we have a good laugh. I enjoy the diversity of the composition of the group and it makes it interesting”.
