Intergenerational

Linking the generations is a 'win win' situation. The project provides opportunities for people of 55+ to use their skills and experience to work with children and young people experiencing difficulties.

The project works very successfully in schools, clubs and centres, the older person's presence bringing direct benefit to the specific young person they are linked with, but also acting as a positive role model for others.

New opportunities for positive engagement between younger and older members of the communities were being developed at the end of the year.
