February is LGBT History Month. Throughout the month there will be displays & a programme of films at Stockport College. Pride textile photo banner will be on display at Age Concern Stockports Pop In Lower Hillgate. On the 1st February at 6:00 pm John Amaechi will be launching LGBT History Month at Stockport College.
John who was born in Stockport is the first and only Britain to have a place in the U.S. Basketball Hall of Fame, he now works as a motivational speaker.
