Membership

Membership of Age Concern Stockport is open to both individuals and representatives of groups or agencies with an interest in the work of the organisation, and sympathy and support for the aims. Our aims are set out on the About Us page. 

Membership is currently FREE, and brings the following benefits: 

• Involvement with a large and vibrant local charity and the opportunity to input your ideas;
• Membership of the Age Concern Stockport Advisory Group which meets three times a year and will help to keep you up to date on all relevant issues;
• Gives you a vote at the Annual General Meeting, including the election of Trustees;
• Receipt of the Age Concern Stockport Newsletter, published and sent to you directly approximately three times a year;
• Receipt of other relevant information as and when available throughout the year.

If you are interested in finding out more please contact the Chief Executive, Margaret Brade, or if you are interested in joining please send a letter to us stating the following: 

• Your wish to become a member of Age Concern Stockport;
• the type of membership you are interested in - individual or as a representative of a group or agency. If the latter please provide the name of the group or agency you will be representing as well;
•  your full name, address, telephone number and if available an email address;
•  a statement confirming that you have read the aims and values of the organisation as set out on the 'About Us' page and that you can confirm sympathy with the aims of the organization.
